I finally hit water on an E7TE intake port, and it was at about .720" from the valve stem to the outboard wall of the valve pocket which is considerably less than that listed in Part III of project E7. Therefore, I have removed all dimensions from Part III and will no longer list dimensions of ported examples, except where I have broken through.

What I was trying to do on this example was to create a radius from the throat to the valve seat, as shown by the black arrows. This is difficult to do with the stock E7TE throat cut. The red arrow shows the break through


The stock GT40P throat has a generous radius from the thoat into the valve seat, as shown by the black arrows in the photos above. As you can see from the ported E7TE mold, I have failed to create a radius similar to the GT40P. The red arrow and white circle show where I broke through.
